I often wish I could go back in time to 7 years ago when I was registering for gifts for my first baby. Overall I did okay and I recieved so many wonderful things, but now after 7 years and 4 babies I know a few things I would have done differently when registering. One of those things would have been a better diaper bag. I liked the one I first received and used it for a long time, but I now know all of the qualities it was missing.
Recently I received a new diaper bag from Adelina Madelina and I really love it! They sent me the I’ll Handle It Hobo in Citron/Slate (MSRP $79.99). This bag is everything I ever wanted!
Adelina Madelina diaper bags aim to brighten the day of busy moms through versatility, organization and style. Adjustable straps allow on-the-go parents to tote their baby’s essentials on one shoulder or cross-body, while well-placed pockets – inside and out – make accessing these necessities easy. Bringing style and sophistication to modern parenting, the Adelina Madelina collection features fashion-forward colors, whimsical patterns and unique silhouettes.
This diaper bag is SO well designed it is amazing. It actually struck up a huge conversation at my daughters dance class last week when one of the other mother’s commented on how cute my bag was and it brought up a conversation on what we all looked for in a diaper bag. Honestly, this bag met all of the needs we discussed:
- The exterior is made of 100% polyurethane trim which is easily cleaned by wiping off.
- Two side bottle pockets- this is probably one of the most important things to me and my old diaper bag did not have them and it drove me crazy
- Spacious interior with 2 smaller open pockets and 1 zippered pocket
- Adjustable shoulder strap (I love this because it can be carried on the shoulder or as a cross-body depending on my needs that day)
- Cushioned changing pad and branded wipes case (LOVE IT!)
- Zippered top closure (this is another must as I had one once that didn’t zip closed on top and I was constantly losing stuff)
The only drawback my friends and I could see was really kind of a plus and a minus, the bag is extremely cute/attractive and really looks like a stylish large purse but we all agreed our husbands would not appreciate carrying it as much as some other less attractive bags. Oh well, I carry it most of the time anyway so he can deal with it right?
Adelina Madelina bags are currently available in four styles, including It’s a Breeze Backpack, I’ll Handle it Hobo, Shadow Me Satchel and Here to There Tote, customers can choose from several patterns, such as Cerulean Ivory, Stormcloud Lime and Citron Slate, among others. The diaper bags range in price from $74.99 – $89.99 (MSRP).
I would absolutely recommend this diaper bag to any new mother. It is spacious, attractive, and practical and I wish I would have had one years ago. What makes it even better is that Adelina Madelina gives back by donating 1% of all sales to the Autism Research Institute, a non-profit organization that pioneers and advocates for people with autism.
One lucky reader will win their choice of I’ll Handle it Hobo diaper bag worth $79.99!
