With the help of just a few Wilton products, I was able to create these fun bloody eyeball Halloween cupcakes. My kids thought they looked so cool, and yet it took me no time at all to make them. I made some pumpkin vanilla cupcakes for another project, so I baked up a dozen mini cupcakes with some of the batter They taste great with a homemade cream cheese frosting, or even buttercream frosting.  But if you are short on time, you could purchase some pre-made cupcakes from your grocery store or bakery and simply add the finishing touches.

Bloody Eyeball Cupcakes for HalloweenI created this look with three Wilton products that I had on hand. Some eyeball mini cupcake liners, blood red sparkle gel and red vein candy eyeballs are all you need. (I had the cupcake liners from last year and no longer see them available, but I linked to some very similar ones.)

Bloody Eyeball Cupcakes for Halloween with WiltonI used a decorating bag and 1A tip to frost my cupcakes. Then I simply squeezed the sparkle gel over top to create a veined look and added a candy eyeball to the center. It really is that easy! I do recommend adding the sparkle gel and candy eyeballs closer to serving for the best overall look. After a day or two, the red sparkle gel will start to seep into the white frosting.
