I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog and see what she has not been up to this past week.
I am not sitting here reminded of a couple of poop stories that simply must be shared (or not shared rather) from this past week.
I am still trying to get our 3 year old son Lucian full potty trained. This has really been such a struggle. He goes great if you put him on the potty but won’t tell you when he needs to go and subsequently we have a lot of poop accidents. To try and make it a little more undesirable to poop his pants we’ve been having him “help” us clean up his own poop.
Words of wisdom learned this past week: If your oldest son poops his pants, you better have something to entertain your 22 month old.
OR you might end up with this…
A 22 month old with his brother’s poop in his hair.
How did this happen? Well, it wasn’t because his older brother got poop on his hands while trying to help clean up his own poop. So I didn’t wipe his butt “good enough for right now” so I could put Lucian up on his stool and wash his hands in the sink to avoid getting poop on anything else. (Ha! Now that is ironic!)
His little brother Warren didn’t decide that he had to get over to the other side of the bathroom where the toothpaste and bath toys are located, his two very favorite things in the bathroom. His smart little self didn’t decide he would try to get there by sneeking through the gap between mommy and his brother. And his adorable little head did not come in contact with Lucian’s still slightly poopy butt. Um, yeah, this didn’t happen.
And yesterday I wasn’t changing Warren’s poopy diaper and notice he had brown stuff on the corner of his mouth. Oh, no, right? So I wasn’t that mom, who wiped it off with her finger and give it a good whiff before breathing a sigh of relief. (Daddy is so busted for giving him M&Ms again!)
I feel bad for laughing, but I can’t help it.
Oh, the things we smell as mothers! 😉
OH. MY. GOSH. Seriously, that is the craziest picture I’ve seen in a long time! Grooooossssss! I am such a wuss when it comes to bodily fluids, I think I might have just thrown up on the spot and made the problem even worse!

Confessions From A Working Mom
OMG! Poop in the hair and oblivious to the fact! LOL
Too funny…and kind of gross too! Boys and poop just seem to go together well, don’t they!
Boys and anything gross just go together Kelli. lolol You made my day, thank you for sharing what did not happen.
HA HA! OMG. Wicked funny. Sorry you had to go through that though. I don’t know what I would have done. Shreiked maybe? “hey you hit my butt with your head” “No you hit my head with your butt!” lol
