The kit includes the portable LabelWorks LW-300 label printer and two satin ribbon cartridges. I love that they come in a convenient carrying case. Epson offers a variety of colors, fonts, symbols, and frames to customize your personalized craft or memorable keepsakes.

Ribbon Decorating Ideas:

  • party favors (weddings, bridal/baby showers, anniversaries, etc)
  • gift bags (birthdays, business events)
  • holiday ornaments
  • scrapbooks
  • crafts, and more

“The creative design possibilities are nearly endless with the LabelWorks Printable Ribbon Kit,” said Anna Jen, director of new business development, Epson America, Inc. “You don’t need to be a craft specialist to print professional-looking ribbon designs. This kit gives anyone the opportunity to charm family and friends with colorful, unique gift wrap, customized bookmarks, dinner table centerpieces, and so much more.”

EpsonLabelWorks_2I used the Epson® LabelWorks™ Printable Ribbon Kit to decorate my baby loss memory boxes. Some of the boxes I use are simple and I like to decorate them for parents grieving the loss of their baby. I printed the words “Always in our hearts” on a beautiful cream ribbon and attached it to just the cover (hiding the scrapbook adhesive on the inside of the lid) so the ribbon can stay attached to this box as decoration. I was excited to find the perfect little graphic with three hearts to place before and after my text. I loved that I could chose a font (I’m a graphic designer after all) as well as a graphic or border. I could adjust the font size and placement as well. I did have to read the directions to make sure I was creating the graphics how I wanted to but they were easy to read and understand. Trimming the ribbon was a breeze with their green cutting button. I’m excited to order some other Epson cartridges to try other ribbon and tape labels.

It also offers a variety of fonts, styles, symbols, and frames, taking creative labeling and projects to a new level.

I love this modern spin on a message in a bottle, HGTV home style expert and prop stylist, Emily Henderson uses the Epson® LabelWorks Printable Ribbon Kit, balloons, holders and sticks to make a creative, personalized gift for any occasion. What a special, personalized gift idea! This would be fun to do for kids on a special day as well. Be sure to watch Emily’s latest video, “How To Make Surprise Poppers.”

  1. What an awesome gift for a crafter. I have a friend with an etsy shop who would LOVE this for creating special packaging. The price is really quite reasonable, too.

  2. Now that my son is in school and has a very large class, I am in need of one of these for party favors! However, I think I could have fun with it for many other projects.

  3. That’s pretty cool! I know of a much more complicated way to do this, but this looks much nicer! 😀

  4. Aww I love this how cute. I didn’t know these existed. My husband bought me a label maker and it’s nice but this is neat and very useful for crafts.
