When it comes to picking out costumes for Halloween, it can be a struggle in our house. Not only am I dealing with a limited boys costume selection in our local stores, but my boys like to change their minds often. I find the best way to deal with this is to help them find a costume that they absolutely love online. My three year old absolutely loves the movie Big Hero 6, so he chose number 7 from the top 10 list, the Deluxe Hiro Costume for Toddlers.  My little guy loves to play dress up and was so excited to try out his new costume. I wasn’t surprised by the plastic mask as typically found in these types of costumes, but I was impressed by the extra touches in this costume. Removable shoulder “armor” and knee pads are all attached with velcro. It also includes a removable rubber belt.

My nine year old chose the Star Wars Clone Trooper Deluxe Child Costume. He has already been Darth Vader and he really wanted to be another character from Star Wars. This was a perfect option for him. This costume features a two-piece mask that actually goes all the way around the head and we paired it with the Star Wars Clone Troop Blaster to complete the ensemble. Just be sure to air out the mask before wearing. We found ours had a slight smell that would not be good right next to his face.

Warren, our 7 year old, chose this Silver Ninja Boy Costume. This Costume Express exclusive is very deluxe with some amazing details. The pants have an elastic waist and are actual pants instead of the typical thin material you find in most children’s costumes. The top is also durable and features a zipper in back. The costume also includes a face mask, head band, hooded tunic with a silver dragon, waist sash, and silver wrist and ankle ties. This costume is by far the best ninja costume I’ve ever encountered and is definitely worth a higher price tag. My son’s excitement after trying it on was a sight to see. We finished off the look with the Ninja Weapon Kit.
