Wordless Wednesday- Jumping to Conclusions

This Wordless Wednesday (which is always anything but wordless) is going to need a bit of a backdrop story.

My husband Joe comes home from a long day of work to find the UPS man left his much anticipated new rims for his car outside. I watch out the kitchen window as I’m emptying the dishwasher to see my husband’s face light up and excited to all of a sudden an obvious “oh no!” coming out if his mouth. Then he looks dejected and then angry at himself, ready to throw his workout bag into the snow. He comes inside to tell me he must have ordered the wrong size because the rims say 17″ (he needs 16″) and he starts going off on how expensive they will be to ship back. Blah, blah, blah.

I told him not to worry just yet and first check to make sure he ordered the wrong ones. If it is their mistake they can pay for the shipping. So he checks his order confirmation and realizes he ordered the right ones. Suddenly I’m the brilliant wife (of course) and he is feeling a bit better. Still, he is bummed about having to go to the trouble of sending them back and having to call the company to get it straightened out.

And then he takes a closer look at the box and sees this:

Um, yeah. So that explains a lot. *cough*

  1. Haha.. That is too funny! Makes ya wonder how many angry phone calls that company has recieved about the wrong product. LOL Love the sticker.

  2. HAHA! How did I not see this last week when it was posted? I think I would have done the same thing. You’d think they’d have just plain boxes available for shipping!
