Wordless Wednesday – Lotion? Uh-oh.

It is never a good thing when your four year old comes up to you and says, “Mommy, you have to see what Warren has done in the living room.” while you are cleaning up the breakfast dishes. You just might walk in to find this:
And your two year old is hiding naked behind the rocking chair with lotion all over his arms and legs which also smeared some on the back of the chair and on your hardwood floors because he is crouched down. Of course he is looking all guilty so you decide to not reward him by taking a picture of him in this sorry state (as much as you would love to for your blog) because he loves having his picture taken.
Naturally you aren’t secretly seething at your husband who decided to take care of those nasty callouses on his feet the night before. He of course wouldn’t leave this lotion out with a fun pump that any two year old would be fascinated to check out. No way, right? And your kid wouldn’t decide it makes for some fun finger paint.
And you can’t look at this situation and just laugh. (tehehehehehehe *cough* no, I’m really MAD. Fuming. Ok, maybe not. This is just too funny. Hehehehehe.)
Sigh…

I can totally see my son doing this!
Haha my husband would do the same thing! Leave it out for our toddler to get into and leave me the mess to clean up! LOL Would have loved to see the picture of him covered in lotion though! 🙂
LOL, my 2 year old has done that too! He loves to put “cream” on! My now 9 year old pulled a stunt like that when he was 2. Only he got a hold of t tube of desitin. That’s when we learned that NOTHING gets desitin out of carpet (we even called the info line listed on the tube!).
Uh Oh! Too funny! My boys would do the same thing though!
🙂 LOL We go through that a lot … could be lotion, dish soap, laundry soap, ketchup, chocolate syrup … the list goes on and on
meep! I guess I was lucky – my son was a little…. well, prissy. LOL He didn’t do stuff like that. I also didn’t have to deal with him flushing things down the toilet, thankfully!
His thing was fire *sigh* luckily he only started a small trashcan fire once, and I caught it in time.
Too funny 🙂 Nothing beats the time my son was about two, he took the tape off of my Kotex pads and decided to wall paper the bathroom with them LOL
I remember those days…..too precious. Don’t miss a day of it!
that’s funny! lol 🙂 cute though
Oh no! Hope it came up easy for you.
Too funny! The dreaded phrase here was always “Look what happened!”
What two year old could resist it?????
All moms have been here.
