My kids started back to school this past week, and I always meet this time with mixed emotion. I’m lucky that both of my boys get excited about going back to school, so it is easier to watch them go on the bus. But the start of school also marks the end of the summer. We’ve had a fabulous summer making a lot of special memories, and I’m so thankful for our quality time. I will miss not having them around during the days, but I’ll go back to enjoying some special one-on-one time with my littlest guy. And I definitely love getting back into our familiar routines.
Fruit the Loom understands my feelings for “TGIBTS” (Thank Goodness It’s Back to School) and being excited about the back to school season because of all the emotions that accompany it. In honor of TGIBTS, Fruit of the Loom asked me to take my kids shopping for school supplies and stock up on Fruit of the Loom undergarments at Walmart.
It didn’t take long to start filling up our cart with the necessities. Our back to school supply list is very long. Besides the usual crayons, glue sticks and scissors, our list includes items like tissues, paper towels, cups and napkins. Walmart had everything we needed and more to get ready.
Even though my boys are still in the same sizes for underwear and socks as last year, we can’t start the school year without replenishing our stock, especially specially socks. Where do they all go?
To make it even easier to save money, Fruit of the Loom offers special bonus packs which come with three extra items in each package at Walmart, both in store and online. They are available in boys, girls and even in men’s and women’s for those teens who have outgrown the children sizes. Look for the special displays at your local Walmart to purchase the bonus packs!
