Sometimes a splurge now and then is in order. Cashmere is definitely a wonderful luxury to indulge in and a baby or kid splurge with cashmere is a fabulous combination! I know because I’ve experienced this indulgence for my two year old Warren with this solid rollneck cashmere blend sweater from Bambeeno and let me say, it makes for a super smashing photo shoot.
This 90% cotton, 10% cashmere blend makes the sweater a bit more affordable and still gives me that super soft, luxurious feel of cashmere. And I just love the classic look and versatility of this sweater.
Now seriously, how can you resist? Bambeeno also has other fun cashmere blends and 100% cashmere like these below.
Any of these gorgeous sweaters would work beautifully for a family portrait or holiday gathering. They make great keepsakes and yet the quality will allow them to be passed on from child to child over and over again. They are also hand washable!
All of Bambeeno’s products are made with 100% natural cashmere. Our fibers are farmed in Inner Mongolia by herders who continue to practice their centuries old way of life; a culture and lifestyle based on sustainability. Our goats are allowed to roam the remote mountain pastures of this region, far from the pollution of cities, and feed on spring fed water and herbal grasses. Our herders and weavers patiently wait for the best fibers and harvest only the finest hair – 15 microns thick and free of inferior top coat hairs. Once harvested, our fibers are then dyed with an eco-friendly dye that is supplied by an environmentally certified manufacturer from Switzerland. Finally, our products are spun using Italian spinning machines to create a refined product that is as luxurious as it is environmentally conscious.
The Navy Solid Rollneck Sweater in the cashmere/cotton blend can be purchased for $72 while a 100% pure cashmere sweater may be as much as double. The cashmere/blend makes a great alternative if your budget would bust from the pure cashmere!
UPDATE: Shortly after writing this review and before ever washing it, this sweater developed a hole where the neck and shoulder come together. My son only wore the sweater for a few hours and did nothing unusual to cause the hole. I did take a picture and notify the PR rep. I was given apologies but no explanation for why that might have happened nor a replacement.
