I have said it before and I will say it again, my kids love Jim Henson’s Dinosaur Train on PBS and so do I. They learn so much from this program about dinosaurs and nature in general such as the difference between carnivores and herbivores.
Kurtis was SO happy to get a new pair of Dinosaur Train Buddy & Pteranodon Friends Pajamas from American Marketing Enterprises (AME) (SRP $20.00). He thanked me repeatedly for the new jammies! Kurtis loves Buddy, he is his favorite and he was so proud to pose in the jammies. I love that they are nice and cool as even in winter, Kurtis is always warm.
All aboard the Dinosaur Train! Now your little guy can get comfy with Buddy, the curious T-Rex and his Pteranodon pals Shiny, Tiny & Don on a Camp Out Adventure! The pajama bottoms have an all-over print of Tiny posing on some prehistoric leaves in a primitive camouflage. The short-sleeve top features the dino friends with contrasting sleeves. These 100% polyester pajamas are flame resistant for safety
Kurtis loves the camoflage look of the pants and we also love that these pj’s come with pants or shorts so he can be comfortable when it is warm too. I only wish they would come in a size larger than 4t so that Kurt could wear them longer.
Keegan got a new pair of Dinosaur Train Slippers (SRP $16.00) from Wiesner Products, Inc. The slippers are adorable, very soft and comfortable and easy to put on. I ordered a size 7/8 for him which is larger than his normal shoe size and these slippers seem to run extremely small. I would definitely order again, but in a larger size.
All three of my kids love their new Dinosaur Train book A Holiday with Buddy! (SRP $3.99), a new paperback from Penguin Young Readers Group. I can’t rave enough about the educational value of the Dinosaur train show and books and this one is no exception teaching kids all about conifers as they celebrate their winter solstice celebration. For my family personally I wish there was more of a Christmas message to the book, but the educational value is good anyway.
Just in time for the holidays, PBS Parents has a great activity on their site called Hungry Herbivores with an activity where kids can learn what an herbivore is, then create and compare two collages. This is a great way to teach your family about healthy eating and traditions as we go into the Holiday Season.
I am very excited to watch All New Episodes of Dinosaur Train with my kids this December!
