Chili Cheese Jalapeno Poppers

  • ⅔ cup chili (approx.)
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (I used KRAFT Shredded Mexican Style Four Cheese Blend)
  • 10 large fresh jalapeño peppers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional garnish)
  1. Heat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Wearing clean disposable gloves, slice peppers in half lengthwise. Fully scoop out membranes and seeds.
  3. Fill pepper halves with chili. Top with and shredded cheese.
  4. Place, filled sides up, in shallow foil-lined or lightly oiled pan.
  5. Bake 17 to 20 min. or until cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before removing from pan to serve.
  7. Sprinkle fresh chives over poppers, if desired.
