I’ll admit it freely, I have a thing for scarves! I love how they can instantly add color to any outfit and add so much depth! Unfortunately most of my scarves work great in the winter but are much too hot in the summer. It should be no surprise that  I instantly fell in love with this Unisex Bamboo Scarf which is the perfect accessory year round that is available in an array of colors.

I also have been in need of a skirt that could be very versatile. The Sexy Skirt/Top Duo was exactly what I was looking for and comes in three colors. I chose black so that it would go with everything and be the most flattering. I found that while it wasn’t a true black, the skirt was perfect for me. I wore it combined with the raspberry unisex scarf and a black top, paired with black top and knee-high boots. It made a fabulous choice for dinner at a nice restaurant while at the Wilton Mom Retreat.

I can’t wait until the weather warms up and I can dress this look up with a pair of heels or down with a pair of flip flops. Another bonus? The skirt doubles as a strapless top, perfect for pairing with jeans! No matter how I wear it, both of these pieces will be a staple in my wardrobe year round.

The fabric is made from vicose from bamboo and which is a super soft material and that is cool to the touch. It is so soft and comfortable that I really felt like I was wearing lounge wear as opposed to something dressy! They traveled well and made it easier for me to pack  for a carry-on only because they fold so flat.  While both pieces looked a bit wrinkled when I first pulled them out of my suitcase, it didn’t take long for them to smooth out just by hanging them up.
