Up until recently I hadn’t visited Frecklebox for several months so I was pleasantly surprised to find all their new items in stock. One that really caught my eye are their personalized piggy banks available in a wide variety of styles. I am attracted to this overall design which allows the bank to be multipurpose and will grow with your child. My only wish is that some of the prints like transportation (shown below) were offered for more of the products.
With Easter right around the corner I’m reminded of yet another holiday in which my boys are to receive a lot of candy. I am not a mom who denies their children all sweets but I really do try to limit their sugar intake. Easter is a perfect example to illustrate that candy isn’t the only thing that will excite them.
I decided to choose items from Frecklebox that would work well in the Melissa and Doug sand pails that I chose in lieu of traditional Easter baskets. I figure why chose something that will get packed away when you can give something that will be used. I have the same mentality regarding candy which is why I’m choosing to fill their baskets with small gifts (and a few pieces of candy) versus a ton of candy.
The personalized coloring books along with bookmarks (which are double sided!) and stickers, work beautifully to stick inside.
But the item that I’m most excited for them to receive are the two puzzles I picked out. We already own the mermaid version and it is really a favorite in this house of puzzle loving boys. The quality is really suburb and I find that the number of pieces (20) is just enough to be a challenge without frustrating them. Lucian is going to flip when he sees his new red car puzzle, complete with his name on it!
Prices start at $3.95 for a set of 12 personalized stickers, bookmarks are $4.95 while coloring books are $6.95. Puzzles are $12.95. Discounts are available for higher quantity of items and get free shipping on all orders more than$45!
