With Earth Day finally upon us, it is a great day to be reminded of the ways that we can make smarter purchases that help to protect our environment. GreenSmart has a great selection of items we use in our every day lives that are made with fabric from recycled water and soda plastic bottles.
At GreenSmart, we try every day to make the world greensmarter. From the designs we create, to the materials we use, to how we manufacture and ship our products, we put everything we do through our GreenSmart filter. We believe that even the smallest of positive actions every day can result in big changes toward a better product and a better environment in the long run. It is a pursuit of best practices for us. We have been doing it since we started back in 1995.
I had been searching for the perfect bag to use while traveling that would not only make walking through the airport less stressful on my back but also fit my large laptop. This GreenSmart Indri backpack caught my eye for the multiple compartments, including a separate padded section for a laptop. I honestly didn’t know I could get so excited about a backpack before but the quality and features are so fantastic that I can’t help myself. It was really a lifesaver during my last trip to Chicago.
From the two side bottle holders, organized compartments, mesh back, handle and easily adjusted and oh so comfortable shoulder straps, I was thrilled with the design. It is very lightweight, soft and looks great. As a huge bonus, it removes 35 bottles from a landfill. I already have the GreenSmart Komodo Laptop Sleeve for my large laptop (shown above) but I needed something for our small netbook. The new Akepa laptop sleeves have more visual interest and are available in four colors besides black.
This laptop sleeve features a super soft, fuzzy material that is made entirely of recycled plastic bottles. It is designed to let your laptop breath and is made from neogreen which is waterproof. It even helps your laptop cool down faster.
What is not to love? The bold colors are a great way to make a statement with your laptop without going over the top and helps you feel good about your purchase. It fits our small laptop great and again, the quality (and I really can’t say this enough) is outstanding.
The Indri backpack retails for $89.95 while the Apeka laptop sleeves range in price depending on size. They start at $29.95 for the netbook sleeve shown. Other products available include lunch bags, wine totes and bottle koozies.
One of my readers will win an Indri backpack and one will win a Akepa Laptop Sleeve in their choice of size and color.
