The first part of building with this workbench is building the workbench itself. Both our boys, ages 4 and 3, enjoyed helping their dad put it together.

Working together they created the workbench set in very little time and with no hiccups. Our carpenters in training enjoyed this one on one time.

When they were finished they had this fun workbench with tool rack which holds a wide variety of tools, hardware, storage and even a working vise! Of course no set is complete without a saw, screwdriver, hammer and wrench and plenty of screws, nails, nuts and bolts to work with. All made with wood and accented with bright primary colors.

With the included ideas booklet to spark the imagination, my husband had helped them build this awesome plane. Isn’t it cool? And of course taking it apart is almost as much fun as putting it together!
The wooden workbench itself is very sturdy, well constructed and the quality of the tools tells me this set will be around for a long time. Our only problem so far has been a single screw split because my husband pushed it too far. I doubt this is something my boys would have the strength to do and my husband freely admits it was his own mistake.
