Do you ever have more fun playing with your kids toys than they do? I have to admit when the beautiful handmade dollhouse toys from Once Upon A Treehouse got here I was more excited about them than my daughter was.
This precious doll’s name is Lily. She has well-made clothes that my daughter can take off/on (which she loved) and bendable arms/legs. Her adorable face is hand painted and every doll and piece of furniture is made from all natural materials (NO plastic!).
Nora also became a “Fairy Doll Mother”. For every doll purchased from Once Upon A TreeHouse, a doll will be donated to a child in need. Not only will you feel good about giving your little one great, wholesome toys to play with, but you will also be able to teach your child about how important it is to help others.
They also send along a fun little craft for your child to make a Fairy Doll Mother wand which my daughter loved!
Once Upon A Treehouse also makes dollhouses and furniture as well as clothing and accessories. My daughter has a Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse that my niece lovingly handed down to her. We picked up a few pieces for it at a garage sale this summer but still can’t find a bedroom set for it. Now her little dollhouse friends, including the new, beautiful Lily, have a bed to rest their heads! This set comes with a wardrobe (with shelves inside), bunk beds with ladder, vanity with working drawer and stool, and a full set of linens for each bunk. They are adorable and so well made. The set fits pretty well in her dollhouse and the Fisher Price little girl fits too! Now Lilly has a friend to share her bunk. (Lamp pictured not part of set).
Lori Kay Shoeneman & Tara Schoeneman-Brown fought over a number of trivial things, as sisters often do. But when it came to their dollhouse toys, they soon discovered it was more fun to play together and use their imaginations to create storylines. They took the concept of working together to a new level with the creation of Once Upon a Treehouse, a line of eco-friendly, wholesome, handmade dollhouse toys. These toys promote quality playtime, complimented with a reliable website filled with fun, interactive ideas for children, parents and grandparents. Once Upon a Treehouse recognizes that not all families are the same by offering a unique, distinctive product line of dollhouses, dolls, pets, clothing and accessories so each child can create their own, unique family. And for every doll purchased, the sisters will donate a soft baby doll to a girl in need.
The wardrobe was too big to fit into Lily’s bedroom here so I moved it into Mom and Dad’s room. Of course they only have sleeping bags as we’re still hunting for the elusive double dollhouse bed for them. That’s pretty typical though right? The kids get the nice stuff while you’re stuck with the faux wood, plastic bedroom set that you’re husband picked up at an estate sale for $100 and promised you’d only have for a few years but really 9 years later you’re still using it… not that I’m speaking from experience. But hey, Mom has lots of room for her clothes now!
Of course eventually sisters will fight for their own room and they’re in luck, the Once Upon A Treehouse bunk beds come apart! (Meet Midori, on the top bunk, another beautifully handmade doll that YOU could win. See details below!)
If the girls get their own room, that only leaves one place for Mom and Dad though … the attic. Oh bother. Well maybe they can turn it into a master suite with that extra toilet I picked up at the garage sale. (Meet Mom doll, Brook, and Dad doll, Quince that YOU could win. See details below!)
