*Thank you to The Mrs. for sponsoring today’s post and reminding me that I’m Enough!*
When I wrote the post, I Can’t Do it All last year, I was feeling very down about myself. I was stressed and feeling as though I was failing at every part of my life. I didn’t have enough time in the day to do everything. I remember crying as the words just seemed to pour out. I don’t always share these very personal thoughts on my blog, but I found it so therapeutic. I didn’t expect such a great response. I received amazing support and understanding from other moms feeling the same way, and it made me feel so much better. Sometimes just knowing you aren’t alone is all you need to move beyond those feelings. I ended my post with:
I am a good mom.
I am a good wife.
I am a good person.
And I hope that is enough.
Do you ever feel as though you aren’t ENOUGH? It is easy to get overwhelmed sometimes with everyday life, but it is so important to have a sense of self-worth. Even when we aren’t perfect, we are really are enough. We are still loved, regardless. The band The Mrs., made up of all women in their late thirties and early forties, debuted with a song, “Enough” that celebrates this message. Don’t we all want to be Mrs. Enough?
The Mrs. will be releasing their debut EP this fall. Although the music may sound like what’s being played on pop radio right now, the lyrics tell a different story. They decided to write about their own lives – like the challenge of juggling a career, marriage, motherhood and friendships, while still trying to maintain their own identity. They set out to foster a connection through their music with other women at the same place in their lives. The Mrs. is comprised of drummer Andra Liemandt, lead vocalists/guitarists Mandy Prater and Jennifer Zavaleta, vocalist/keyboardist Larissa Ness, and bassist Jenny Mason.
The song, ENOUGH, is catchy rock tune, and I found it easy to relate to the lyrics. To promote their message and song, the band took an amazing approach. They created a magic mirror of sorts in a mall captured it on video. What happens is really special. I encourage you to watch, and I dare you not to cry.
Awesome, right?
To celebrate the movement and encourage and inspire, I received three #imENOUGH decals for a window or mirror. I decided to put the “You Look Amazing” decal up in my bathroom, as that is the space that I tend to scrutinize myself the most and the mirror I use most often.
I invite you to share your own #imENOUGH selfie on your social channels to help spread this wonderful message and song that celebrates women and lets them know they are enough! Follow this movement with The Mrs band on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and the #imENOUGH hashtag!

I think it is a great positive message. I feel this way all the time, it is good to get some encouragement. I will be passing this on to other friends that I think would appreciate this.

After watching the video, I had to watch it again, and it made me cry!! So many women do so much every single day and they need to know that they mean something!!
Rhonda Rudd says
such a positive message. Women are so hard on themselves and think of themselves last putting all others before themselves that they forget they are worth more than they think.
