It’s officially fall and here in Northern Minnesota they are already talking snow. It makes me cringe and realize I need to start pulling out all of the warm clothing and accessories for my kids. One staple of Danica’s fall/winter wardrobe is leg warmers. She has been obsessed with leg warmers for a few years now and has a variety so we were more than happy to try out i play’s line of organic leg warmers.
i play organic leg warmers are made with organic cotton which is grown without use of toxins, synthetic fertilizers, or pesticides. They are extremely soft and stretchy. The site describes them for protecting baby’s legs and knees, but at 13 inches they stretched to fit Danica perfectly too. She loves using leg warmers on her arms too (especially for dance class).
The adorable print leg warmers come in a 2 pack box ($13.00) or solids in white, rose, or navy are sold individually ($9.00). I chose the white and navy for Danica since these are 2 of the accepted colors for her school uniform. Danica of course insisted on putting on one of each when she got them.
They will work perfect for pulling on over her tights as it starts to get cooler. I also assume she can wear the white ones as sleeves on her arms with her white uniform polo shirt. My only complaint is that I would not describe the navy ones as navy blue, I think they are more of a royal blue which means she will not be able to wear them to school.
Kurtis is ready for fall/winter with his new i play organic boot socks ($7.00). I love these socks and so does Kurt. They are a great length going a little further up his leg than most of his socks therefore protecting his calves from the cold.
The boot socks are offered in a boy stripe color or girl stripe color and one size (toddler 2-4 years). Kurtis wore these socks for 3 days straight before I insisted that he must take them off so I could wash them. Did I mention he loves them? They are so soft and comfortable.
i play also offers organic print socks with smaller sizes for baby too. Offered in 6 different prints (Cornflower Stripe, Sage Stripe, Rose Stripe, Green Argyle, Pink Argyle, Blue Argyle) these would be an adorable and cozy addition to any baby or toddlers wardrobe.
Keegan is getting ready for the cold weather with his new green sprouts Sprout Ware Toddler Fork and Spoon Set (10 pack). These utensils are the perfect size for Keegan’s hands and mouth as most regular spoons and forks are too large and he has outgrown his baby spoons.
The Sprout Ware collection is made from plants and are described as “multi-use disposable” meaning they will last about 10 washings in the dishwasher, but will last longer if hand washed. At a retail of $6.00 per set hey are an economical option for on the go. The Spout Ware items are offered in a boys or girls set and include:
- Infant Spoon (10 pk)
- Toddler Fork and Spoon Set (10 pk)
- Cup with Travel Lid (3 pk)
- Snack Cup (4 pk)
- Plate and Bowl Set (2 pk)
