Mango sorbet is the one of the easiest healthy dessert or snack recipes! My kids love desserts with fruit and wanted to learn how to make sorbet. For this sorbet recipe we used already frozen fruit, even though I had fresh mango and pineapples on hand. This recipe is super quick, but you need to work with frozen fruit and we were too impatient to wait. That means though that you can easily enjoy this three ingredient recipe year round!

Mango Sorbet Ingredients

To make this mango sorbet, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • frozen mango: We purchased our mango frozen but you can also freeze fresh mango if preferred. You must use frozen fruit however for this recipe.
  • frozen pineapple: We added frozen pineapple for an additional flavor but you can replace this with more frozen mango if desired.
  • maple syrup: We used maple syrup as a liquid sweetener but you can just as easily replace this with agave nectar, honey or fruit juice like orange juice or pineapple juice.
  • toppings: Optional toppings include toasted coconut, maraschino cherries, chopped nuts, etc to add to the tropical feel but they aren’t necessary to enjoy this sorbet.
