While my two oldest boys were born only 17 months apart, they have very different tastes in almost everything. From the toys they play with to the books they read, they are distinctly different. Every once in a while, their likes intersect. I love those moments when they can enjoy something together. Recently, they were able to share in the Ricky Ricotta Mighty Robot book series. When the four books first arrived for review, I set them aside on our buffet for a time that I wanted to reward their good behavior. But when they discovered them on their own and both showed such enthusiasm, I decided not to wait. They both raved about the books after reading them.

Our Thoughts on Ricky Ricotta Might Robot Series
Lucian who is 8 and my oldest, has been reading for a long time. The words are not challenging for him, but this book series is pure entertainment for him. Lucian loves to laugh as he is reading. He is however, a very advanced reader. Warren who is 6 and in first grade, is just starting to be able to read books at this level independently. Occasionally he isn’t sure about a word, but he can still read them on his own for the most part. They do push him to learn while having fun! And both the boys love talking about the series together.
