Ricky Ricotta Mighty Robot Book Series: Kids Review #RickyRicotta

While my two oldest boys were born only 17 months apart, they have very different tastes in almost everything. From the toys they play with to the books they read, they are distinctly different. Every once in a while, their likes intersect. I love those moments when they can enjoy something together. Recently, they were able to share in the Ricky Ricotta Mighty Robot book series. When the four books first arrived for review, I set them aside on our buffet for a time that I wanted to reward their good behavior. But when they discovered them on their own and both showed such enthusiasm, I decided not to wait. They both raved about the books after reading them.

Ricky Ricotta Mighty Robot Book Series

He lives in Squeakyville with his mother and father, and being an only mouse, he is often lonely. That is until SOMETHING BIG HAPPENS! A giant flying robot enters Ricky’s life and an unlikely friendship is born! Together, Ricky and his Robot must save the planet from a galaxy bursting with bad guys!

It’s up to Ricky and his Robot to stop them!
  • ABOUT BOOK FOUR: RICKY RICOTTA’S MIGHTY ROBOT VS THE MECHA-MONKEYS FROM MARS Little Ricky Ricotta has a problem: the bullies at school pick on him all the time. Until one day, he saves the life of a mighty robot. Together, Ricky and his Robot face the bullies, and save Squeakyville from a giant evil lizard monster. That’s what friends are for!

Our Thoughts on Ricky Ricotta Might Robot Series

Lucian who is 8 and my oldest, has been reading for a long time. The words are not challenging for him, but this book series is pure entertainment for him. Lucian loves to laugh as he is reading. He is however, a very advanced reader.  Warren who is 6 and in first grade, is just starting to be able to read books at this level independently. Occasionally he isn’t sure about a word, but he can still read them on his own for the most part.  They do push him to learn while having fun! And both the boys love talking about the series together.

Check out this video to hear their overall thoughts on the series:

Now they’ve got the next book in the series, Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot vs. The Jurassic Jackrabbits added to their Christmas wish lists! (It hits stores on October 21st, and is currently available for pre-order.)

BUY IT:

Look for this series available nationwide at booksellers such as Barnes and Noble and Amazon.

I like the fact that it is a series of books that way my grandson can enjoy learning about all the characters.
