Baseball season is in full swing although it’s been a chilly start with the new open stadium in Minnesota. I have yet to see a game at Target Field. Although I’m not a huge baseball fan I like the idea of experiencing an open air stadium with the roar of the crowd, the sunshine (hopefully not snow) and the hot dogs. The rest of my family are big baseball fans however. When ScoreBig asked me to share my experience buying tickets through their site I took the opportunity to get some Twins tickets for my dad’s birthday.
Minnesota Twins Tickets
While the Minnesota Twins aren’t the oldest franchise in Major League Baseball, they do boast one of the most storied histories in all of pro sports. Since entering the league in 1961, Twins Fans have been lucky enough to see some of the best to ever play the game suit up in Twins colors. With 11 playoff appearances culminating in two World Series Championships, it’s no surprise to see why Twins Tickets are a hot commodity up in the Twin Cities.
If you’re looking for Twins Tickets, you’ve come to the right place as ScoreBig has guaranteed below box office pricing for tickets at beautiful Target Field. The Twins proudly opened Target Field in time for the 2010 season with much fanfare. Baseball fans loved Target Field and the league rewarded the new stadium with the 2014 All Star Game.
ScoreBig not only offered Twins baseball tickets for my area. I could have also chosen from local theater productions or Minnesota Wild hockey tickets. Larger cities offer more options. This would be a great way to order event tickets in advance if you’re going on vacation. They also offer family-friendly events.
How Does It Work
I was curious how the ScoreBig site worked. They make it very easy to understand with their simple three step process. 1) Find your tickets. 2) Make them an offer. 3) Get an instant answer. It really was that easy.
ScoreBig makes it easy to select your seats with their seating areas highlighted on the event location map. Although you’re not allowed to pick your exact seats you can chose which area based on what you want to spend. Simply select the event and date you want to attend, the number of tickets you want to buy and the section you want to sit in. You’re set to make an offer. Note the full price per ticket listed for each area so you have an idea what you want to offer.
Since I was hoping to get a great deal on four tickets in the 5-star seating area, I started with a really low offer of $25 per ticket. Hey it’s worth a shot right? The color bar below my offer gives an idea of your offer will be successful.
Fail. My low-ball offer wasn’t accepted. Thankfully I was able to make another offer on this seat rating area.
I really wanted to get at least two tickets for my parents and was hoping to stay in this 5-star seating area so I increased my offer and decreased the number of tickets to two. I like that ScoreBig showed me which seating areas were available with a guarantee that all of the tickets would be seated together in the same row.
I entered my offer and waited while they searched for tickets. Bummer. Rejected again. This time ScoreBig gave me a counter offer at $61.38 per ticket and a ticket timer to accept. At this point I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t able to get much of a cost savings from the full price ticket. They had quoted the full price tickets for this section at $73.94 (including the fees). They also listed the average savings at 10%. With a savings of $12.56 I did a little better than that.
Apart from not saving as much as I had hoped, I was happy with the seats I was able to get. They were in the 5-star section just to the right of home plate. My dad was absolutely thrilled with the gift and said that he never dreamed of having seats so good for a baseball game. It was also really simple for me to navigate the site and my tickets were delivered promptly within a few days. They guarantee that you get your tickets on time no matter what and have several delivery options available. I also knew that the price I was quoted was the final price with their promise of no fees or shipping costs. I’ll be sure to check ScoreBig prior to purchasing tickets for my future events.
