So often for Valentine’s Day I’ve waited too long to have my kids pick out special valentines for their classmates and loved ones. The best in store are picked over fast and I’ve learned thinking ahead of time is necessary. I’ve been disappointed however in the quality of those Valentine’s. They are cheap for sure but don’t even compare to the simple cards I distributed as a kid. Instead of envelopes they now just include small heart stickers.
These Valentine’s Day Cards from Shutterfly are a huge step above that, aren’t they? So many adorable options are available including those with pictures and without. Even if you purchased from them last year, they now have 50 new styles to choose from.
You can create a valentine with your whole family or individual cards of reach of your kids. Either way you choose, these will be personal. Much like personalized Christmas Cards, they are certain to be treasured rather than overlooked.
Shutterfly also has plenty of other gift ideas for any occasion, including Valentine’s Day. I would love to get a personalized iPhone case (4/4s & 5) with my family on it or an updated Photo Mug for my in-laws to admire their grandkids across the miles.
Another great gift idea would be the desktop plaque available in 5×7, 5×5, 8×10 sizes. You can choose to have your photo in full color, sepia or black and white.
This year I refuse to be caught off guard for Valentine’s Day and am shopping early to get some thoughtful gifts!
Valentine’s Day Cards start as low as $.40 each while desktop plaques range from $19.99 to $29.99, depending upon size. Be sure to watch for sales and promo codes to save! (There are some great sales on shipping, photo books and gifts going on right now!)
I have 50 (4×5) Stationery Cards (small classroom cards) and a 5.5×5.5 Desktop Plaque to give away to one lucky reader!
