Every year since having my first child I have struggled with what to put into babies Easter baskets. I know, babies don’t know the difference, but their older siblings are certainly going to notice if baby doesn’t get a basket too. But babies don’t really care about jelly beans and chocolate rabbits, so what do you do? Tiny Love had the perfect suggestion with Crosby Clip-on Crab ($19.99). This little guy clips onto anything, even Easter Baskets.
Crosby Clip-On Crab was such a popular feature of Tiny Love’s Gymini Bouncer that it is now offered as a separate toy.
You may recall I recently wrote about the Tiny Love Pack-N-Go Mini Mobile and how awesome the clip was for clipping on to anything. Crosby Clip-on Crab has the same great clip, only he has 2 of them! We clipped him onto Delaney’s swing, her bassinet, and her car seat and she loved staring at him.
- Fits pack & plays, travel cots, infant carriers, strollers and bassinets.
Two musical options: 15 minutes of continuous music or baby-activated tap & play option.
Variety of fun features packed in an appealing, colorful design
Perfect for use both at home and on-the-go
While Crosby’s top side offers an adorable face, his bottom side has colorful lights that flash catching and holding baby’s attention. Delaney was mesmerized by the lights. Crosby also plays sounds and music for baby and my only complaint is the choo choo sound it sometimes makes that I think is a little startling at first until they get used to it.
Crosby has colorful striped crinkly legs that I am sure Delaney will enjoy playing with as she gets older.
Another great Tiny Love item we received is the Tiny Princess Double-Sided First Book ($14.99).
- High contrast pink, black and white colors stimulate baby’s sight.
Variety of textures and crinkly elements intrigue baby.
Helps extend tummy time.
Easy to fold and take along.
Delaney LOVES this book. She stares at it and smiles continuously. Her favorite part is looking into the mirror and smiling at herself. I just love watching her enjoy this toy.
The great part about this toy is that you can put it into a bassinet or crib (it has short strings around it for tying it in), or you can stand it up on its own on the floor if baby is enjoying tummy time.
The vibrant colors are definitely eye catching for baby with one side featuring pink black and white and the other side with a variety of bright colors on adorable creatures such as butterflies with crinkly wings and snails hiding behind ribbons of grass. These features will be great has Delaney gets older and starts grasping items. While we received the Tiny Princess version, Tiny Love also offers a more gender neutral Double-Sided First Book.
When baby is done playing the book folds up quite compactly and is held together with elastic straps. What I didn’t love about this item is that the folds of it are not really hinged for easy folding. It is more of a stiff plastic with bends in it and did not seem to fold as easily as I expected. Maybe with continued use this will resolve itself. I would certainly still recommend this book as my baby loves it.
Both of these toys are available directly from the Tiny Love Store or at retailers nationwide. You can also find the Tiny Love Crosby Clip-On Crab and Double Sided First Book online for a discount at our affiliate Amazon.
One lucky winner will receive both the Crosby Clip-on Crab and Double Sided First Book from Tiny Love! Open to US/Canada residents.
