I can’t believe the Total Mom Challenge from Total Gym is over!
In that time I’ve realized that making a fitness routine and sticking with it doesn’t have to be as complicated as it once seemed. With the Total Gym I don’t have to make a special trip to the gym. I don’t have a monthly membership fee and I can’t use the weather excuse to avoid going. Instead I have a full body workout in the comfort of my own home that surprisingly doesn’t take up a ton of time or a lot of room if I take less than a minute to fold it up.
I saw changes in my own body and my own strength and was very excited to use the gym as part of a workout routine to achieve an overall healthier lifestyle. My plan was to also do a detox juicing diet for 10 days as well to really kick things up a notch once we got a little further into the growing season here in Minnesota to cut down on cost. However, some things don’t always go as planned. You may have read my recent post about my own surprise. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant which of course changed my goals with the Total Gym. It was no longer about weight loss, although I did lose a few pounds on the system in the beginning.
Instead it became about strengthening my body for the upcoming changes. And now I know that after I give birth I have a great system in place to get back into shape and lose those pounds from pregnancy.
My husband has been using the Total Gym from the very beginning as a regular part of his workout routine and just came up from a challenging set with the Total Gym as I type this. I know it will be especially appreciated during the cold winter months when running outside isn’t an option for him but he is itching for a workout.
For someone as dedicated to fitness as my husband is, there is no doubt in my mind this system will get used and get used often, even when I’m too pregnant to enjoy the benefits myself.
I want to thank you so much for following me on my journey and thank Total Gym for giving me the opportunity to try out this system!
