In a medium bowl, whisk brown sugar, melted butter, corn syrup and  salt. Stir in pecans until well combined.

Pour into bundt pan sprayed with cooking spray and spread mixture evenly on bottom of pan.

Beat cake mix, sour cream, milk, oil, eggs on low, just until moistened. Turn mixer up to medium and beat for 2 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Spread batter evenly over pecan mixture.
