By now you may have noticed that I’m a Wilton Mom Ambassador. And I’m not going to lie. Being one is very cool and I’d be jealous of me if, well, I weren’t me. I get the chance to try out tons of Wilton products, visit their headquarters and be taught by the best, and get to hang with some of the coolest Wilton employees and some great bloggers. Just for being a regular mom who enjoys baking. Life is good right? Except life is better when the love of Wilton is shared. I love talking about baking (obviously or else why would I have a baking blog, Oh My! Sugar High?) And I wanted to have a true discussion about Wilton Halloween Ideas versus a standard giveaway and make sure the winner got their items in time for Halloween. Besides, live giveaways are just plain fun!
One of the Wilton prize packs you can win at the live giveaway later today is the materials need to create this Creepy Crispie Treats display. Sweet, right?
I’ll be honest, this wasn’t quite as easy as the directions made it seem, mostly just because of all the layers. And I never could get it as smooth a the picture. But what I will say is that they taste a-w-e-s-o-m-e and once I got over the idea that they had to look like the picture, I’d say they turned out looking pretty cool too.
But one of my very favorite products are these Freaky Friends Cupcake Pix. They are genius and only cost a whopping $3.29 for a set of twelve. So why am I gaga over some cupcake picks? These have my vote for the most bang for your buck and the easiest way to kick your cupcakes up a notch. These are durable and washable! That makes them reusable year after year. Since they are not made of wood, you don’t have to quickly remove them from your child’s cupcake either but they still insert into the cupcake easily. And for those of you who do not have decorating bags and tips, these look great even with tub frosting applied with knife.
You’ll have a chance to win two sets of these pix later today at the live giveaway!
Here is the final result of my recent Halloween baking…
Don’t forget to RSVP for the live giveaway later today to have the chance to win a Wilton prize pack from me personally!
You can find some of the products used still available on the Wilton website or check out your local craft store like Michael’s, AC Moore, Jo-Ann Fabrics or Hobby Lobby. You will even find Wilton Halloween products at Target and some exclusively available at Wal-Mart!
Disclosure: I am a Wilton Mom Ambassador and have received sample products that were used in this review and to give away. However all baking ingredients were purchased my myself. No monetary compensation was received and my opinions and experiences with these products are 100% my own.
