Pat ribs dry with a paper towel before placing them on a baking sheet or ziploc bag.
In a small bowl, mix together seasonings for the dry rub.
Sprinkle seasoning on all sides of the ribs. (Shake to coat if using a ziploc). Let seasoned ribs rest at room temperature for at least 15-30 minutes.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place boneless ribs in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful to not overlap. *
Cook for 16 minutes, turning over halfway through cooking.
Brush both sides with barbecue sauce using a pastry brush.
Cook an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until internal temperature has reached at least 145°F (63°C).**
Let rest for a couple of minutes. Brush with additional bbq sauce before serving.
You can cut off the fat cap of the ribs if they were not already removed. (It is a thick layer of fat on one side of the rib.)
*You may have to cook in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer. Keep your ribs warm by placing them on a baking tray and covering them loosely with aluminum foil. Place in the oven, preheated to 200°F (95°C.) until ready to serve.
**You may prefer to cook them to an internal temperature of 160-165°F (71-74°C ) for a more tender rib. Exact cooking time will vary depending upon your air fryer and the size of your boneless ribs.
Country Style Ribs Oven instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
Preparation: Season the ribs. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors. You can sear the ribs in a hot skillet for a few minutes on each side to develop a nice crust before baking, if preferred.
Cooking: Place the seasoned ribs in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake: Bake the ribs at 300°F (150°C) for 2 to 2.5 hours, or until they are tender. Remove aluminum foil and increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). Brush barbecue sauce on liberally on all sides. Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes.
Check for Doneness: Ensure the ribs are tender by checking with a fork or a meat thermometer. The internal temperature should reach at least 145°F (63°C) to be safe, but for a more tender result, aim for 160-165°F (71-74°C).
Resting: Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving. This helps retain the juices and improves the overall flavor.
