Blue Mermaid Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups milk
  • 1½ cups half-and-half
  • 4 oz. Ghiradelli white chocolate baking bar broken up (or another high quality brand)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 drop blue dye
  • whipped cream
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Melt milk, half-and-half, vanilla and white chocolate over medium heat, stirring often. (Make sure you do not boil!)
  2. When chocolate is melted and mixture is hot, remove from heat.
  3. Add in one drop of blue dye and stir.
  4. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
  5. Serve immediately.
