Chili Cheese Dip is the best party dip! So quick and easy with just 3 ingredients required including cream cheese, canned chili and shredded cheese. Serve this warm dip with your favorite corn chips, tortilla chips crusty bread, pita chips, crackers, french fries or veggies for the perfect game day snack or party appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 brick (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 can (15 oz) canned chili with beans (Hormel or similar brand)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or mexican blend
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)
  • your favorite dippers such as corn chips, tortilla chips crusty bread, pita chips, crackers, french fries or veggies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).

  2. Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the bottom of a pie plate with an offset spatula or the bottom of a spoon.

  3. Add canned chili over the top of the cream cheese, spreading evenly.

  4. Top with shredded cheese.

  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes uncovered. The cheese should be fully melted and edges bubbly.

  6. Garnish with chopped green onion or other garnish if desired.

  7. Serve immediately.

Recipe Notes

Highly recommend Frito Scoops for easy scooping. Green onion is optional. Other topping options include sliced jalapenos or chopped cilantro.
