Whisking a lemon dill aioli sauce with mayo base

Dill Aioli

Take your favorite foods to the next level with this dill aioli recipe! Featuring mayo, fresh dill (or dried),  minced garlic and fresh lemon juice, this refreshing sauce tastes especially good on fish, potatoes, crab cakes or chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl whisk all ingredients together.
  2. Chill for at least 1/2 hour before serving for best results.

Recipe Notes

To thin out this aioli for fish, you can add 2 to 4 tablespoons milk to get your desired consistency.

Good for several days stored in an airtight container in your fridge.
