Greek Yogurt Jello

This easy Greek Yogurt Jello is light, creamy dessert that is packed with protein. Ingredients

  • 1 box (6 oz) strawberry Jello gelatin (or your favorite flavor)
  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt (whole milk preferred, vanilla or plain)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • whipped cream or Cool Whip whipped topping optional
  • fresh strawberries for garnish optional

Instructions

  1. In large bowl add gelatin and pour in boiling water.
  2. Stir until dissolved, around two minutes.
  3. Whisk in Greek yogurt until well combined.

  4. Pour cold water and give a slight stir. Transfer to 8 individual serving dish (approximately 6 oz each) or a medium serving bowl.

  5. Cover and chill until fully set, approximately 4 hours or overnight.

  6. Before serving, top with whipped cream and strawberries for garnish, if desired.

  7. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 5 days.

Recipe Notes

Can use two 3 oz boxes of jello instead of one 6 oz box of jello or sugar free jello if preferred.

Whole milk Greek yogurt gives the most creamy texture but you can substitute plain Greek yogurt or non-fat Greek yogurt.

Other garnish options include sprinkles, chopped nuts, or fresh mint.
