Ragu No-Frying Chicken Parmesean

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 lbs.)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 3/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 jar 1 lb. 8 oz. Ragu® Old World Style® Pasta Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese about 4 oz.
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. In shallow dish, blend bread crumbs, Italian seasoning and garlic powder together.
  3. Dip chicken in egg and transfer to crumb mixture, turning to coat.
  4. Place chicken in 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Bake 20 minutes.
  5. Pour Ragu over chicken. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake 10 minutes more or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
