Ingredients

  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (Hidden Valley Ranch)*
  • 1 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese (or Monterey jack, cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 6 slices bacon precooked and crumbled
  • 3 green onions finely chopped (or 3 tablespoons fresh parsley or fresh chives )
  • your favorite crackers, potato chips, tortilla chips or veggies

Instructions

  1. Beat softened cream cheese in medium bowl with mixer until creamy.

  2. Mix in ranch seasoning and sour cream until fully combined.

  3. Stir in shredded cheese, bacon, and green onion. (Reserve some bacon and green onion for garnish, if desired.)

  4. Transfer to serving dish. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least one hour.

  5. Remove plastic wrap and garnish with remaining chopped green onion and crumbled bacon, if desired.

  6. Serve your favorite crackers, tortilla chips, potato chips or veggies.

  7. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 5 days.

Recipe Notes

*This recipe does not use the entire 1 oz packet of Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning mix, which is approximately two tablespoons total. French onion mix can also be substituted.
