Ingredients

  • 6 pork loin chops (bone-in) approximately 1 inch thick,
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 oz Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning Mix (one packet or approximately 3 tablespoons)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Allow your pork chops to sit at room temperature for around 20- 30 minutes.

  2. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Trim any excess fat from pork chops and pat dry with a paper towel before placing on a large baking sheet.

  3. Place all seasonings (ranch seasoning, Parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley, dill, salt and pepper) in a small bowl and stir to mix.

  4. Drizzle pork with oil and gently massage into the meat on all side. Add seasonings to the top. Let rest for a couple of minutes

  5. Place pork chops in oven and bake for 18 to 25 minutes, depending upon thickness to an internal temperature of at least 145°F (68°C). (You can broil for the last 2-3 minutes if you prefer golden, slightly crisp top.)

  6. Let rest five minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes

You can remove the olive oil, but you may get some patchy or dry spots. Be sure to not over cook and spray your baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or use parchment paper to avoid sticking.

Broiling (Optional):

Broiling for the last 2–3 minutes is a great option if you want:

  • A golden, slightly crisp top (especially nice with that parmesan-ranch crust).
  • A bit of extra color and texture without overcooking the inside.

How to do it:

  • When the pork chops are almost done (around 140–143°F internal temp), switch your oven to broil.
  • Move the pan up to the top rack, about 6 inches from the broiler.
  • Broil for 2–3 minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
  • Pull them at 145°F, then let them rest for 5 minutes.
