Easter Bunny Cookie Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury™ Shape™ Bunny Sugar Cookies
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 drops red food coloring optional
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Bake cookies according to package directions. Cool completely.
  2. Beat cream cheese, vanilla and sugar until smooth.
  3. Mix in food coloring if desired.
  4. Spread cream cheese mixture over bottom of one cookie and place another cookie on top to create a cookie sandwich.
  5. Roll sides into sprinkles.
  6. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Recipe Notes

You can substitute your favorite flavored cream cheese flavors such as strawberry or pineapple for the cream cheese mixture. It is a great way to save time and add additional flavor!
