Preheat a waffle iron.

Whisk eggs, bananas, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth. Stir peanut butter into the egg mixture until smooth. Fold oats and chocolate chips through the egg mixture.

Spray waffle iron liberally with cooking spray or brush oil over surfaces.

Cook on iron according to manufacturer's instructions, being careful not to lift lid until fulled cooked, about 3 minutes.

Gently remove with rubber scraper.

Top with butter ,banana slices and syrup. Serve immediately.
