Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh brussel sprouts washed, trimmed and sliced in half
  • 2 to 3 slices bacon cut into bite sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cubes Pop & Cook Crush Garlic 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Place brussel sprouts on top of baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Top with freshly ground pepper and salt, to taste.
  5. Toss brussel sprouts to evenly coat.
  6. Separate so sprouts are in a single layer with cut side down.
  7. Add two pop & cook packs or two gloves of crushed garlic.
  8. Top with bacon.
  9. Bake uncovered for approximately 25 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked and brussel sprouts are tender and a light golden brown.
  10. Toss brussel sprouts again to mix garlic and serve.
