  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1 oz ranch seasoning mix packet (Hidden Valley Ranch)
  • fresh chives chopped (or fresh parsley or fresh dill as garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat softened cream cheese in medium bowl with mixer until creamy.

  2. Mix in mayo, sour cream and ranch seasoning packet until fully combined.

  3. Transfer to small serving dish.

  4. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with chopped chives, if desired.

  5. Serve with your favorite veggies or potato chips.

  6. Cover and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 5 to 7 days.

Recipe Notes

Can be made one to two days in advance.

This recipe can be adjusted to replace the mayo with all sour cream. (So two cups total of sour cream and no mayonnaise.) This will reduce the amount of calories and fat, however the dip won't be quite as rich and creamy.

Can serve this dip immediately. However, the longer you refrigerate, the more time this dip has to firm up and flavors a to meld. If you chill for several hours or more and serve immediately after removing from the refrigerator, it will be a bit firmer. Let it sit out at room temperature several minutes before serving and it will be more creamy.
