Two-Tone Gelatin Chicks and Bunnies

Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 cups boiling water divided if using two different gelatin flavors
  • 2 pkgs. 4-serving size each JELL-O Gelatin (can be same or different flavors)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or yogurt divided

Instructions

  1. Spray Wilton 12 cavity PEEPS chicks and bunnies mold with cooking spray.
  2. Add gelatin to medium bowl and add water. (Use two bowls if using different flavors.)
  3. Reserve 1 cup of gelatin if using a single flavor. Set aside.
  4. Bring gelatin to room temperature.
  5. Pour gelatin into molds to 2/3 full.
  6. Refrigerate 15-25 minutes or until gelatin is firm but not set.
  7. Meanwhile, refrigerate reserved gelatin for 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  8. Stir in sour cream or yogurt to reserved gelatin with whisk until completely combined.
  9. Fill molds completely with creamy gelatin.
  10. Refrigerate 3-4 hours or until completely set.
  11. Gently pop chicks and bunnies out of mold.

Recipe Notes

You will have extra gelatin left over.
