I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog see what she has not been up to herself.

I did not get all excited when I saw that my son’s name made MckMama’s list of names that make her salivate. I didn’t get so tickled pink that I even made a post about choosing a name and about MckMama’s love of the name, which I haven’t had a chance to finish up yet. I seriously don’t put so much stock in what others think and therefore wouldn’t give a {insert naughty phrase} what people think of the name Lucian. We love it and that is all that matters so I wouldn’t need any kind of validating, especially by a fellow blogger whom somehow has more influence than you would ever really guess over all her followers (including me).

I didn’t catch my 30 year old sister doing something that I couldn’t resist teasing her about because I was in total disbelief. I didn’t exclaim, “No way!” and proceed to ask if I could blog about it. She didn’t get all embarrassed and yell, “No!”. I didn’t tell her that she can’t give me such great material for my blog and then not let me use it. I didn’t give her the final say about whether I could tell you all what I caught her NOT doing. Since I don’t have a the go ahead yet from her, you’ll just have wait to see if you’ll ever know. Come on sis, give in and let me spill it! 🙂

Yesterday morning my husband was not kind enough to let me sleep in. I wasn’t going to get to get much needed extra zzzs only to wake up at 6:00 to my husband informing me Warren our 15 month old, had thrown up all over the living room rug and on him. I then did not get to clean this said vomit up while my husband gave him a bath. While doing so I didn’t wonder why it seems my husband is the unfortunate one to be vomited on and why I’m always the extra lucky one to clean it up. We have hardwood floors but it seems either rugs or beds are always getting the worst of it. I wasn’t thankful for my once again stuffy nose in the morning and that Warren hadn’t yet eaten breakfast.

Lucian did not crack me up this morning when he offered to pick my boogie and extended his hand like he was going to start the job. I don’t think I really had a boogie but it was nice of him not to offer since I’m constantly removing his. Isn’t he thoughtful?

He also didn’t have me chuckling when he stole my nose, threatened very nicely to eat it and then place it right back where it is supposed to be. I did not recently start stealing his nose and wonder if he really fell for it or realized it was a fun little game. There is no doubt now that he is a smartie pants.
