Where do you go when you want to get away? My husband and I love exploring our state together but we often forget nearby states. We live right on the Minnesota and Wisconsin border so it is easy to take a day trip to Wisconsin or even the U.P. of Michigan. But now that I’ve had a chance to learn more about South Dakota, I feel like I’ve missed out all these years. Lifestyle and travel bloggers Ale and Tere recently visited Sioux Falls to explore and shared their adventures.

Sioux Falls is known as the so-called “Heart of America” and makes an ideal travel destination (or weekend getaway). And since Sioux Falls is known for being affordable, you can enjoy some quality time with loved ones without breaking the bank.

Sioux Falls, SD is great at providing tourists with a variety of activities that are easy to get to so you can make the most of your time there. Alex and Theresa started their weekend off  with a trip to Falls Park to enjoy some great views and sounds of the waterfalls.

Just one of the stops that Alex and Theresa made was to Prairie Berry where they enjoyed lunch with  local wine, open faced sandwiches and a cheese board.

Afterwards they took a stroll and checked out fun shops at 8th & Railroads.  (I definitely would love to go here!!)
