Last week my schedule felt absolutely crazy. I was in New York City for three days and between packing and everything set up for my kids while I was away, it felt like a huge task just to get out the door.  Of course actually getting there was certainly an adventure, and my schedule for those three days full. With so much running around, it is important to think ahead. Each night I planned out my outfits and made sure I had everything together before heading off to bed. I was very thankful that I remembered to bring some food to munch on and tide me over. Between delayed flights and missed meals, I was starving by the time I arrived at my hotel. The following morning we had a scheduled breakfast, but not until 10am. These Kelloggs Frosted Chocolate Little Bites were the perfect way to satisfy me when I woke up three hours before I knew I’d get a chance to eat!

Kelloggs Big Day Tomorrow Chocolate Little Bites NYCKellogg’s says it best with, “When you prepare the night before a big day, you set yourself up to have a better tomorrow.” It is so true in many forms. I find that I sleep better knowing that everything is in place for the morning. This is especially important for those big days where it isn’t acceptable to be running late. The extra time and stress isn’t worth it!

Kelloggs Getting Ready Big Day TomorrowEven when I’m not traveling, I find myself forgetting to eat breakfast. It isn’t intentional. Some mornings my mind is on everyone and everything else but me. By prepping for the day ahead of time, I can be more relaxed and have a visual reminder that I need to eat something.

Dr. Travis Stork’s Tips on Having a Successful Big Day

  • Lay out your clothes the night before to help streamline your morning routine.
  • Create a “must achieve” list for the morning to help yourself stop stressing about those tasks at night, leading to a more restful night’s sleep.
  • Plan out what to have for breakfast, and nothing is easier than setting out a bowl and spoon for a quick, nutritious and tasty bowl of cereal in the morning.
  • If you’re travelling or on-the-go, making sure to pack a nutritious snack (like a baggie of cereal) in your bag to help you avoid hitting the mid-morning lull and picking something unhealthy.

  1. I agree and like you, if nothing is out, I am behind and usually without the most important meal of the day. I have to look for that special k cereal, looks like one my kids would like
