The Juice with Kyra Sedgwick ~from Tropicana ~ {Giveaway}

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my Disclosure and Privacy Policy.

The Juice is brought to you by and in support of Tropicana Top 50 which contains 50% less calories and 50% less sugar. How sweet is that? (Pun totally intended…) You will find The Juice online community on BlogHer and according to them, this is where you can share your own practical ideas and tips on how to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t. The Juice is all about the “good stuff.”

I poked around the site and found myself listening to their yoga video with interest. I rather enjoyed that their questions and responses seemed a little less polished and a little more real. More like you were listening to your friends versus the nightly news. I finally learned why we do eye exercises at the beginning of yoga.

Here is a sneak peak of the upcoming episode airing Monday, July 20th and featuring Jory of BlogHer and Kyra Sedgwick from The Closer. (Don’t forget to turn up the sound!)

The Juice has given me a $200 Patagonia gift card to give to one of my readers! (Now that dear readers, IS sweet!)

Win it: Tell me how you try to be green or your favorite green tip. (Please no “enter me” or “I want to win” type answers.)

  1. Working from home is one of the greenest things I do. It cuts down on gas(oil) use emensely, but all so paper waste (I hardly eat fast food any more. Every thing gets emailed (postman's gas, paper waste)I am able to use our home's energy more effectively by using appliances during non peak time. i also have extra time to do things like compost and bike to errands.

  2. i try to recycle all my waste materials but living in an apt complex,,,it is difficult and not having a vehicle I have to wait to take to the recycling center

  3. Our city has just taken away one of the two trash days, and replaced it with a day just for recycling…I hope this makes people recycle more!

  4. recycle. i also have no plastic in my home (yes, i raised 3 children using no plastic.) tp is about the only paper product we purchase regularly, and at our summer home in montana we recycle the tp too. we do not have trash pick-up as we recycle everything we use. it's all about the environment and preserving it as best we can.

    i follow your blog and twitter.

  5. We taught our 4 year old son how to recycle! There is nothing better than a 4 year old telling someone else to recycle. Thanks for the giveaway!

  6. We have switched to CFL's, unplugged, and ungraded to energy efficient appliances. We are saving not only on electric and gas but taking advantage of tax breaks and rebates for improving our home. Look online for rebates and tax breaks and see if it makes sense to imrpove your home by making it more energy efficient.

  7. We've been trying to cut back on electricity. So far this year, we've only had the air conditioning on 2 days…yesterday and today. Tomorrow will be in the mid 80's again so we are turning off the ac.

  8. well we've done a lot lately to be green and increase energy efficiency, but one of the major ways was switching out all light bulbs with more energy efficient ones. what a change!
