The Juice is brought to you by and in support of Tropicana Top 50 which contains 50% less calories and 50% less sugar. How sweet is that? (Pun totally intended…) You will find The Juice online community on BlogHer and according to them, this is where you can share your own practical ideas and tips on how to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t. The Juice is all about the “good stuff.”
I poked around the site and found myself listening to their yoga video with interest. I rather enjoyed that their questions and responses seemed a little less polished and a little more real. More like you were listening to your friends versus the nightly news. I finally learned why we do eye exercises at the beginning of yoga.
Here is a sneak peak of the upcoming episode airing Monday, July 20th and featuring Jory of BlogHer and Kyra Sedgwick from The Closer. (Don’t forget to turn up the sound!)
The Juice has given me a $200 Patagonia gift card to give to one of my readers! (Now that dear readers, IS sweet!)

My family is just starting to "go green." I just purchased an eco-friendly shower head that saves water. macd82 at gmail dot com
We recycle, and have changed all our ligtbulbs to the energy efficient ones.
I sell on eBay and recycle my plastic bags and paper egg cartons by using them as packing materials.
I try to use a reusable shopping tote instead of getting plastic bags
We recycle, walk instead of drive, and use locally grown produce!
Though I use the green lightbulbs and other little things around the home, I also got my kids into recycling. I keep a shopping bag with me when the kids are around and they pick up aluminum cans when they see it… we also recycle our own and when they fill up the bags, they get an extra allowance by turning them in to the recycling center. They love doing this and they love the treats they get from the cash!

My green tip is to avoid plastic bags! we take backpacks to the store and fill them. They're easier to carry than plastic bags anyway, and using less bags helps the environment!

I keep a small folded up reusable bag in my purse or diaper bag, so that I have one handy in stores other than just the grocery store. Now if I can just remember to get it out ALL the time 😉

I went to The Juice, and heard about the Vampire Effect. I guess I always knew my chargers should be unplugged, but it was a good reminder.
Blogged about this too! Linked back to this post and The Juice. Thanks for the contest!
