The Juice with Kyra Sedgwick ~from Tropicana ~ {Giveaway}

The Juice is brought to you by and in support of Tropicana Top 50 which contains 50% less calories and 50% less sugar. How sweet is that? (Pun totally intended…) You will find The Juice online community on BlogHer and according to them, this is where you can share your own practical ideas and tips on how to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t. The Juice is all about the “good stuff.”
I poked around the site and found myself listening to their yoga video with interest. I rather enjoyed that their questions and responses seemed a little less polished and a little more real. More like you were listening to your friends versus the nightly news. I finally learned why we do eye exercises at the beginning of yoga.
Here is a sneak peak of the upcoming episode airing Monday, July 20th and featuring Jory of BlogHer and Kyra Sedgwick from The Closer. (Don’t forget to turn up the sound!)
The Juice has given me a $200 Patagonia gift card to give to one of my readers! (Now that dear readers, IS sweet!)
Win it: Tell me how you try to be green or your favorite green tip. (Please no “enter me” or “I want to win” type answers.)

we recycle and reuse. glass containers I wash and use for home made mixes
We replaced all of our regular light bulbs with compact florescent bulbs and only buy energy star appliances.
I have a compost bin, recycle everything including ziplock baggies, have my own grocery bags I take to the store, carpool to places, just to name a few…
Our city FINALLY made curbside recycling available, and I am SO surprised by how much of my trash is recyclable. Now my regular trash bin only needs to go to the curb every other week instead of every week!
We are a "green" family in several ways! We all recycle, reuse, unplug items when not in use and at night, have our own veggie garden, we shop at yard sales and thrift stores to save on packaging..and money! We have replaced our lightbulbs, I use vinegar and water to clean, and the big one {For me anyways] is that we decided NOT to put our air conditioners in this year!
I try to be green by recycling and investing in reusable pieces.

I don't really go out of my way to be 'green,' but I do some things. We use florescent bulbs and keep the blinds closed so the ac doesn't work as hard. I also just carry my groceries without a bag when it is feasible; I'm too forgetful to carry reusable bags.

We reuse and recycle as much as possible. Not to mention cutting back on what we buy to begin with.
I found out that you have to prioritize love, the same way that you prioritize cleaning, childcare and work.

My husband and I recycle all of our plastic and glass bottles and containers. Knowing that they're not nearly as biodegradable as natural products, we do everything we can to keep them out of our landfill.

We use only natural cleaners. Thanks

My apologies if this is a repeat post, I don't think my original one went through! Anyway, my family only uses reusable totes while shopping to cut back on plastic waste – we also reuse ziploc bags. I don't run the laundry unless on a full load and we air dry our clothes now. Thanks for the giveaway!

I've switched from paper towels to dishtowels that we wash weekly
