Not Me! Monday – #12

I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog see what she has not been up to herself.

On Saturday I did not attempt to put a one piece outfit on Warren and become surprised that it didn’t seem to fit. Warren was not starting to complain and finally scream out as I tried to fit his arms through only to realize the I hadn’t fully pulled the zipper down. I would never forget this important step and if I did, I would certainly have figured it out faster than that.

I did not get the chance to go to the mall by myself for a change while the kiddos napped. This rarely happens so of course I’d use this time wisely to shop for pants for myself since I need them so desperately but dread going into a dressing room with children. I would not instead shop for the kids, my husband and father (whose birthday is coming up) and at the last minute realize I still didn’t have anything for myself. I wouldn’t then frantically try a couple of pants on only to walk out with some cropped pants and a top. I wouldn’t be the type of person who would rather shop for someone else than herself and yet complain each morning that I don’t have enough stuff that fits me right. Not Me!

I do not find it funny that Warren enjoys pouncing, sitting and tackling his older brother Lucian. I don’t find it totally hilarious, especially since Warren looks so happy doing it and usually has his tongue sticking out when he does it. We didn’t play “smash pillows” as the hubby made French Toast on Sunday and I didn’t snap some pictures of Warren jumping on top of Lucian under the pillows. I wouldn’t allow this type of horseplay of course and I definitely wouldn’t join in by saying “Get ‘em Warren!” as Lucian screamed for help and cried, “No, baby!”
