Not Me! Monday – #34

I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog and support her during this difficult time with Stellan!
I did not run out of napkins last week and forget to buy them at Target, not realizing I only had a couple left when I went. So I did not make my own sad napkins by cutting up paper towels.
And I didn’t crack up at Lucian yesterday when he got a good eyeful of my cleavage and asked me if poop comes out of there! (In his defense, when they are smashed together they do kind of look like a butt, don’t they?)
And if you were at my local Target last week, I was not the woman with two kids ages 3 and 20 months who thought it would be a good idea to buy storage bins for toys, not even thinking about how exactly I’d get them out to the van. So I wasn’t the one struggling as the bins kept falling out the bottom until I finally decided I’d have to put them in the main compartment up top and therefore neither of my kids would be inside. No, I wasn’t the one struggling as her very active 20 month old kept trying to make a mad dash for the food center, employee’s area and up through the checkout lanes just as we were trying to get reorganized to go outside. And so I wasn’t the mom caring her youngest with one hand, pushing the cart with the other and directing her 3 year old as he hung on the side of the cart as we made the way to our van through the rain. No, I wasn’t that mother.
Since I’m certain MckMama will not be posting Not Me! Monday this week, please link up so I can enjoy your post!
Haha! I can’t get over the “does poop come out of there?” comment. I just laughed so hard at that. My son is calls them my hearts and we saw a lady with a low cut shirt the other day and he turn to me and said “She has some really big hearts mommy”
That Target trip does not sound fun!!
Love the Target story! That was very much ME, way back when our little LJ was 20 months!
Okay, I’m now imagining the exact scene on your Target trip. This was fun to read.
