Not Me! Monday – #35

I love Not Me! Monday created by My Charming Kids so I’ll take this time to reflect on what I did not do this past week. Please take a moment to visit MckMama’s blog and support her during this difficult time with Stellan! He will be undergoing surgery again! I can’t even imagine what that must feel like as his mom…

I am not finding myself writing this week’s Not Me! only because I know that my parents would be bummed if I didn’t. This just happens to be their favorite post of the week and they look forward to it. So while I know I won’t be able to link this up, I’m not writing one, just for them. (And anyone else who cares to read it…)

The other night I did not get some iced tea and come back later for more only to realize that I had emptied the pitcher and just put it back nicely in the fridge. No, I’m not one to get so dristracted and go through the motions that I would leave an empty pitcher in my fridge.

I also have not had AAA batteries on my shopping list for a week and somehow how I didn’t manage to NOT pick them up on my three, yes, three, trips to Target last week. Speaking of which, I definitely don’t find myself making an excessive number of trips to Target either. Nope.

Lastly, I didn’t make the mistake of getting some fast food (not that we ever eat fast food) and have a totally brain malfunction afterward.  I could not have left the garbage container outside after I threw the bag away instead of bringing it into the garage as we normally do when there is food in it.  I did not wake up to a mess the following morning and realize that whatever critter got it loved my baked potato rind from Wendy’s but not the spicy, sweet Asian sauce from my chicken. Hmm…good to know.

  1. Stopping over from MckMama’s Blog Frog

I too have been known to make an excessive number of trips to Target in a week. It’s as addictive as coffee to this mama.

  2. Gotta go to target tomorrow with the weekly (if I am lucky) list that usually starts again the day I went. I always have to go down certain aisles as to make sure I didn’t forget anything else They finally expanded the grocery section and I LOVE that!!!
