Breakfast is an important part of our day. It is how we start our morning off right, together around our dining room table. On cool mornings nothing warms us up like some delicious oatmeal. My 3 and 7 year olds especially love Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal topped with raisins. During the work week, my husband needs items that he can store at his desk after he hits the gym in the early morning. He likes anything with protein and especially loves steel cut oats! We pack lunches so we all have good, healthy meals for the day and we try not to rush and stress through the morning routine.
A balanced breakfast gets our day going
with hearty breakfast and prayers
We eat breakfast together while spending some quality time together before heading out for the day.
I rarely have to rush with my littles yet so we relax and eat slow, make it a game, then clean up.
We start each day with a delicious bowl of oatmeal! We also try to get everything prepped for the day the night before so its smooth sailing in the mornings!
