Tips and Tricks Thursday – Runny Noses

Poor Warren has had a terrible runny nose for the past couple of weeks. It runs non-stop. I don’t know how he stays hydrated since I swear all the liquids I give him are coming out his nose. On that note, I thought I would share what I’ve found to help my children and their darling noses. While these two products don’t cure the problem, they certainly do help!

Little Noses Saline Spray/Drops

This product relieves stuffy noses from the common cold, sinusitis, dry air and allergies! Thank you dear sister for telling me about this product. All you have to do is squirt a little bit in each nostril and wait a few moments. The snot just comes pouring out. It is awesome. I also highly recommend using a nasal aspirator with it.

I also like that all Little Remedies® Products avoid the use of unnecessary additives, helping to eliminate side effects and concerns. No pseudoephedrine, alcohol, harmful preservatives and gentle formula. Made in the USA.

Boogie Wipes

Another great product that you may have heard about recently is Boogie Wipes. (Don’t you just love saying boogie?) They are very gentle saline wipes that work wonders to dissolve mucus. You can find out more, including how to buy them here. I have two packages that I purchased because of these very times when the nose is wreaking havoc. They work just as good as they claim. The wipes are super soft and get the crusted boogies off very easily. The only thing I don’t like is their size. They are awful large and since I don’t ever plan to carry a WET wipe around in my pocket I cut or rip them in half before I use them. They last longer and I don’t feel wasteful.

Feel free to share your own tip for runny noses. I’d love to hear them!

  1. Those saline drops are great to have on airplanes too because the air is so dry when you are flying. I love those! 🙂

  2. I use these saline drops all the time. They work really great when I need to suck the mucus out of my son’s nose. I just spray a little up his nose and wait a few seconds and the mucus usually comes right out. I highly recommend these!!
